Watertower Antiques provides antique sourcing and distribution of fine quality items from northern Minnesota. Located 60 miles north of Duluth Minnesota on the Mesabi Iron Range in the downtown area of the historic “Queen City” of Virginia Minnesota; just south of the city water tower, next to the abandoned old brewery, a 1 minute walk south from the shore of Silver Lake, at the corner of 2nd ½ St and 7th Avenue South. Open in the summer of 2008.

Hello. First Post here. Just like the dollar bill stapled up on the wall behind the counter at the local grill, this is the first post of the Watertower Antiques web site.

Although I am just the web technical backbone at this point, and I know absolutely nothing about the difference between antiques and junk, I’m guessing that after the real members of the Watertower Antiques Team learn how to post words and pictures, and to answer comments, lots of new and fun items will appear in these pages.

In addition, participants of the Watertower Antiques Display Area in Virginia will be invited to advertise and talk about their products here.

That’s all from the guy that only knows the web technical. We’ll all wait for this training period to end, and the actual fun to begin.
